About Us

Since its creation in 1981, Malvern Unit members have been proud to serve their community, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

With the latest equipment, we are ready to handle any type of emergency situation. Our first-responders are professionally trained to deal with rescues, storm incidents, and more. We also hold frequent community-wide awareness programs in order to promote proper prevention and good safety habits.

The Malvern Unit has around 40 operational volunteer members, 2 rescue trucks and 3 4WDs. Our unit boundaries are Punt Rd, Warrigal Rd, Dandenong Rd, and Victoria St/Barkers Rd/Toorak Rd.
